Our Mission
Our mission is to insure that our member’s voice is
heard in the workplace, state and local government,
and the community. We accomplish our mission by:

• Supporting the organizing of all professional Fire Fighters.
• Participating in the legislative and political process to promote legislation and public policies that protect and advance the interests of our members and their families.
• Providing training and technical assistance for effective bargaining and representation.
• Promoting constructive labor-management relations.
• Advocating for increased training, higher professional standards, and increased health and safety standards.
• Promoting public understanding and appreciation of the fire service and the contributions of our members.
